Is Sunday School a dying entity?
It seems to me that Sunday School is slowly, but surely, going the way of Sunday evening Discipleship Training and Wednesday evening Prayer and Bible Study. Yes, "Bible study" might still be there, but prayer seems to be fading away. And consider that many "Bible studies" consist of "studying the study" rather than studying the Bible.
Maybe Sunday School has been replaced by "small groups outside of the church." Sure, we should have those. But, shouldn't the church have some sort of organized education ministry in the church to feed the flock?
